The Jerry McClure, SS/B 'Scootin Cuda' did end up with
Paul Lance out of Kentucky. The paint scheme for both the Wiley Cossey (California car) and Jerry McClure (Mississippi car) couldn't be any closer. pc |

This came to Norway in the late 70th century was driven by Odd-Roar Björnland, then went back to the U.S. in the 90s

Hemi Moose. The silver & red cuda from Norway was John Macy's last car that I know of.It was built from a yellow 6cyl car in the back of the transmission shop John worked at.Conn Auto Transmission owned by Jim & Leon Browning. It was sold by Drake Viscome to Odd-Roar. John built the phony 66 hemi wagon in the rear of Fairbanks Transmissions in Stamford,Conn if memory serves me correct.

while we are on the subject of sanair, around 1990-91 my dad popped a hemi in the 65(uncle georges engine), they removed the engine from the car to give it to ray barton to fix since it was already in canada, it was later in the day and don garlits(don was using uncle george's motor home getting prepared for diamiond p instead of their trailers) was there helping my dad and uncle george remove the engine from the car, there was quite the audience watching big work on a s/s car , plenty of pictures were taken but we never got any , you would not happen to of taken any? or know anyone who has pictures? |

Hey Jimi, in your exp racing @ Sanair did you come across a real LO23 running up there , had a pro stock scoop on it, cragars. It was owned by someone in La salle (Montreal area ) at the time. thx
