Safety Solutions Hybrid
Any opinions on the Hybrid R3 vs the Hybrid Pro Rage ?
I was going to the get the R3 that stays in the car and add the seat pad, but I kinda like the fact that the Pro Rage is a little smaller and doesnt require the pad...

Re: Safety Solutions Hybrid
Dave,
I would let you know but, I haven't been anywhere with the car. I'll be trying it out at Atco in April for the 1st time. I did try it on at the Motorsports show in January but, that was without all the gear on. Rob K. |

Re: Safety Solutions Hybrid
Dave,
I have a R3 inseat version and the pad is not uncomfortable. I am really happy with it. The only things that I would recommend would be, 1. You will still need either a neck collar, head sock or helmet skirt. Make sure what ever one you get it has a SFI tag. Not every one tags them.(except the neck collar) 2. Check the distance from the back of your head at your driving position to your headrest. My car had a large distance and I had Safety Solutions make me a custom headrest. Which was inexpensive. 3. After everything set and adjusted, Safety Solutions made me a one piece helmet tether (without adjusting buckles) which futher increased my side to side sight lines. Which ever one you get, you'll be happy. |

Re: Safety Solutions Hybrid
Dave,
I have Pro Rage and R3s insaet in-stock along with the new easy slide tethers. The easy slide teather is not avalible from mail order so if someone would like to up-grade they can stop by and I would be more that glade to up-grade your unit. I will be at Atco for the open if you would like to try one on. Priceing is not an issue just call me. You will get good pricing and sevice that you can not get over the phoneor thru the mail.
