409's had the dipstick on the passenger's side, the 348 had it on the driver's side like the small block. Also, a factory 409 dip stick said 409 SS stamped on it. I might have seen one or two in my life.

17 for 17. I've never seen the Chrysler poly engine that was in the picture. But it couldn't have been the other choices.
