There's surely not enough correct original 265/283/327 blocks to go around for the new "old" stocker demand.....the aftermarket block boys are licking their chops....It's ALL about money, once again... WJ

and it had a Bendix EFI as a option same type unit a option on 57 Chrysler 300C

Just when I was thinking about selling my '58 Pontiac Chieftan with the 370 and tri-power. used to be killer cars in D/sa back in the day.

Wonder where it would fall today?

265 and 283's can be make out of '62-'67 327 blocks by sleveing them.
Had a fellow running a S/S '56 tell me 'it was a poor man's bow tie block' when I asked him how he was able to still find usable 265 blocks.
