There's surely not enough correct original 265/283/327 blocks to go around for the new "old" stocker demand.....the aftermarket block boys are licking their chops....It's ALL about money, once again...

265 and 283's can be make out of '62-'67 327 blocks by sleveing them.
Had a fellow running a S/S '56 tell me 'it was a poor man's bow tie block' when I asked him how he was able to still find usable 265 blocks.
