Bogey Winners at the Dutch?
So with no second time run either day, when were the Bogey races contested?

Re: Bogey Winners at the Dutch?
Well that sucks....and not just because my dad was 9.900 in his time run but how about:
a.) Racers that lost 1st round, they only got one chance at it. b.) People that had to lift because the guy they were racing broke or was late or they dumped the other guy off. They could have been on a 90 but the scoreboard shows a 92 or 93.

Re: Bogey Winners at the Dutch?
That's why I would be in favor of No Bogey and just add the extra bogey money into the payout.
$75.00 for 3rd round losers seems like nothing when you pay $170.00 to enter excluding crew entry. MASGA payout is more for less entry. Then you wonder why car counts are down? If you want to run a Bogey have racers throw in an extra $10 or something and go for it. Iggie

Re: Bogey Winners at the Dutch?
I agree with Iggie, put the pot into the eliminations purse and go from there and shorten the race by a day or make it a Sportsnational for the East Coast. I mean I know I didn't get there till Friday but I know by Sunday I was drained (As you can tell that all of us were sleeping by the 5th inning of the Phils Game on Sat Night) so for the people who were there on Wednesday I feel for you! I understand there will be arguments over how many days it needs to be but, we all know you can't run cars past sunset at Maple Grove at the end of October unless we get unreasonable warm weather like today is on the East Coast. Every year I know I've gone to the Dutch (15+ years) they have always pushed the line and barley finished on time but, now they keep adding more and more classes (T/D, T/S, Sleds, Hemi Shootout). Now trust me I like watching T/S and the Hemi Cars cause they are some trick pieces of fast equipment but, just not enough time in the day so now I understand why the .90 classes had no cars. As 1 racer said to me this weekend they are trying to fit 15 pounds of sand into a 5 pound bag but, he didn't use the word "SAND". Make Thursday a test and tune day and go from Friday on...

Good for you making it to the 5th inning. I fell asleep during "Combat!"

Re: Bogey Winners at the Dutch?
In s/c Kathy won the $500 with a .007 package and Randy Jr won the $250 with a .009 package on saturday. Tom Boyle won the $250 with a .029 package and I didn't get who won the $500 for second round.
