I watched an old Seinfield episode last night, the SOUP ****. Laughed my butt off, but then it reminded me of the guy running the lanes this last weekend at a certain track. The guy running the lanes LOOKED just like the soup ****, but worse yet, he acted alot like him too....NO SOUP FOR YOU!

More like SOUP COMMIE for it is THEY and not the National Socialists who starved people to death (between 5 to 8 million Ukrainians during 1932-33).

Mopar68, what you say is true, but I think you missed the whole point of this tread.
You would have to be a diehard Seinfeld fan to "get it".

I remember a staging **** at West Palm Beach in the earrly 70s with a hemi Cuda named Hemi Inc who forced everyone to stage first. That is until a certain SS/E 67 Fairlane with Woods & Dee on the side engaged him in a 10 minute burn down contest. He lost & then everyone made him stage first. I think Boggs was his name.

Willis,
Boggs did run a '70 Cuda Hemi. Originally black. I don't remember the color after that. I would have enjoyed watching the staging duel you guys had. They were unheard of back then. But, 'Hemi, Inc." was a red, white & blue '68 race hemi cuda. A few guys were in on that car and they actually formed a corporation to race it. Doesn't seem like a big deal today but in the 1969/1970 days of real sportsman racing, it seemed weird.

Pre-Moroso, when Dave Rupp owned the track, there were a lot of interesting things happening - anyone remember the starting line "moving" each year??

That's OK as long as they moved the finish line an equal amount. But, that does sound familiar.
Dave Rupp was the first owner of the West Palm track. Pre Moroso. Prior to that Rupp ran a '64 Dodge hemi called "Big Money Dodge" somewhere out of the midwest.
