Welcome new superstocker racer
My son just sold his Q/R , T/D and bought a 80's -90's camaro ss/gt car .It is an Ed Quay ride from the past. It is carrying a 350 ,/255/290 69 engine. I know all this stuff is top secret ,but if any of you would like to chime in on a PM with some help i will keep it a secret as well .The car is around a 75 under car in IHRA with a lot of old school still with it. We will just be patient and saw along as i did with my stocker in hopes of being a competive player in the ss game.Don't want to be the fastest(cause you never will ) ,we just want to have some fun and do a few wheelies along the way. We are now a stock/superstock family and hope to make a few more new friends along with our 90's friends.Welcome son.

Re: Welcome new superstocker racer
I think he will end up with another one ,but i also think he will keep the superstocker as well. I loved the look on his face after testing fri nite with the wheels-up. He loved it. He has been in the shop all day today tinkering on it. I have not seen him this excited about racing in a long time. All you guys be easy on him now. lol

That was not nice Chip...
Danny Jr. congrats on the new toy! Know you played with the stocker some, but I am sure the SS'er will be a whole new learning at the bottom bulb. Wheelies are cool! Ken |

Re: Welcome new superstocker racer
Thanks guys!
I've been wanting another door car for a while now and this one was just in the right place at the right time. I had the same body style Camaros and Firebirds growing up and it feels so comfortable behind the wheel. As far as the wheelies go........That part I can't get enough of! If it wouldn't tear everything up, I'd just take the wheelie bars all the way off of it and let'er rip! I still have alot to learn, but I'm up to the challenge.
