Re: Trails still on ?
I will bring a jar also Bob, but I don't know what you guys are worrying about. They have been calling for rain all week, and its like desert here. The forecast calls for spotty. We will be ok. My goal is to get all the rest of you S/ST ers a little tipsy on Sat eve, hope to get one of you first round on Sunday. That's providing mine will even run.

Re: Trails still on ?
Larry (& many others) walked the starting line area on Thursday. How sad. They used to run a National Event here. Now the track is in need of a total re-do. Ruts, cracks, crumbling areas... Shame on NHRA for not helping to get this fixed!
...Opinions of Mrs. Larry, this time...

Re: Trails still on ?
Altho the starting line and the rest of the track for that matter looks like crap, Redman and his crew did a helleva job ...They kept after the bald spots, and for track temperatures of way over 135 deg the track was way better than I was expecting.........as far as time managment and scheduling, I'm sorry you guys are stuck with Jay., This weekend finally made me appreciate the job Bob does in D1. [Even tho we still are always last!]..........Tom
