Raceway Park Wednesday Testing
Attention in the pits, calling all NHRA racers: Raceway Park, Englishtown, New Jersey, is helping fight the economic crunch. With the purchase of a $28 tech card on April 14th, 21st, 28th, or May 5th, your crew gets in for free. There is no limit, but each crew person must enter in your tow vehicle.
If interested, please e-mail or call the RP office (732-446-7800) to sign up for this program. Just email Raceway Park's own Jeanne Linke, her e-mail is Jlinke@racewaypark.com. This program is open to any racer who runs in NHRA Lucas Oil divsional or P.C. Richard and Son Open events. Or for any 8.50-type or Outlaw 10.5,Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Manley Super ET, Liftec Forklifts Pro ET, etc. If you fit the criteria just email Jeanne for more info. This offer is for racecars running slicks only. Please also note that there are some noise restrictions that do apply. Track manager, John Critelli, prepares the track on Wednesday nights (scraps, glues, tennants), as he would for a Lucas Oil divisional or Sunoco points day. He will also assure that each session gets a touch up of glue on the starting line. RP also has a full track safety crew, including assistant manager Nick Goldman at half track, to check for any leakage or parts debris from previous racecars, in place. If you arrive by 6 pm we will guarantee three runs, but you will usually get more. Please take advantage of this great offer.
