from the fan aspect wont it be like,

"hey theres another one of them new fangled 4 speed automatic cars again,what happened to the stick cars?"

Officials at NHRA said this week they were considering wording revisions on a couple of rules. One being the manual tranmissions wording. If all parties sign off on the change there would be a revision in the wording to more align the rule with the transmissions that are being used now. The revision may or maynot exclude certian types of available transmission. All of this will be decided this next week if at all possible.
