Best 15 inch trailer tires currently are?

I had trouble with Carlisle C and D rated tires not lasting on a heavy OPEN trailer! There have been a few discussions over the years on different forums where the majority of posters agreed that Carlisle was junk.
I have friends who own a tire store sell me Towmasters and/or some other brands with good results. I don't remember more details since I started using an enclosed trailer with 6,000lb axles and 16" tires a few years ago. But I would stay with at least a D rating regardless of brand.
