I know this has been hashed over before but is South West tech the place to send a MSD box to get repaired?

Good morning Lyn,
Some years ago Pat did a Great Job tuning up my MSD7A and 7AL2's, but then he seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth. Sent some stuff to him and had difficulties getting in touch with him and the quality suffered.
I would be cautious with this subject. I recently sent my 8A back to MSD (reluctantly ) and they repaired it and ran fine in the car. But with the past problems , not too comfortable. Just my two cents. Others have had similar problems.

Respectfully,
Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA

Let us know how you made out getting MSD repaired especially if you used TechWest. I tried to contact him when I had MSD problems and he never returned the many calls and emails. Then suddenly lately he's been advertising on FM message boards.
I went through MSD and it was a pain but I did get satisfaction.

Give Pat a call for your need MSD repairs. Simply call him and get an idea of a turnaround time. Everytime Pat repaired my MSD it was at a fair price and it worked great.

What were your symptoms that caused you to send your box to Pat for repair?
I have a 7al3 box that has been to MSD trailer many times but never has an issue. It seems to have a random stumble after launch. Anyone else see this issue?
