There is an outfit whose website is http://www.carsteering.com I used it to find what fit my Nova. You can lookup their number for your car, then you can look up other cars to see if they list same number. Or call them, they can probably cross reference the number. I found a good 70 Chevelle box at a swap meet for cheap, when I looked it up on their website it was the same number as my Nova.

Bruce, Most GM cars have the same frame bolt pattern. The rag joint can be easily dealt with.
The problem is usually the Pitman arm,..but a clever guy can solve that issue, safely.

Thanks Jim That'd be perfect. You got to think that would fit. What's odd, on my frame there's only two holes. I've never seen a GM box with only two holes. Is your box a 2 holer? |

My Firebird came originally with a manual box . The box has 4 threaded mounting lugs but Pontiac only used 3 bolts to hold it in . Never heard of a box that is only held in by 2 bolts , that's weird . The A body box is the same , but has a different pitman arm .

oh.....crap. Working at night to keep outa the big heat caused me a slip up. Just went out and looked and found the missing hole..... in my brain. Single hole by itself on top. Well, good. That's one thing out of the way
