open air element thermoquad base?
I am wondering what you guys running thermoquads run as a base for a open element air cleaner. we got a plain old aftermarket one but the carb hit it, the one that was on the car was a factory one that he folded up to take the open element... any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: open air element thermoquad base?
The factory base for the '68-'71 340 seems to work very well. It really differs with the body (A,F etc) as the height of the hood to the top of the carburetor is a factor with these carbs. Jim
