I know how NHRA points work, but I'm newer at the IHRA way of doing things.
I see on the Pro-Am page at ihra.com that you can earn points at up to 12 divisional races- eight races in your division and four races from outside of your division. How many of those races are included in the final tally, or do they all count? Thanks! |

Each driver will claim a home div and your # must start with that div,Example div 1 may have a # starting with a 1.You do not have to live in that div to claim it. Points are earned from your best 5 finishes out of a maximum of 8 races. You MUST attend a minimum of 4 in divisions to be eligible to earn points. Thes points are earned at pro-am divisions only .No points for Nitro Jam (National ) events. Page 115 in IHRA rule book has all details and points structure. Hope this helps.
