Default camaro intake help

what kind of intakes do you use 67 and 68 big block super/stock camaros with the non-cowl ss hood and the holley carb ? i am going to change intakes but i have to use the stock ss hood .the 4150 holley dart intake is what i would like to use.i know all 396/375 67 & 68 camaros in superstock have run into this..if there is a different motor mount or any thing i can try ,let me in on it ..lol...any input will help..thanks..denny

Use a motor plate and lower the engine as much as you can. Thenraise the fender cowl hood as much as ou can ,the intake you chose will only take a 1inch spacer. Jim Hanig

Thanks for your input Jim.I run the car in muscle car drags ,so the stock SS hood has to stay.im not sure i can use a motor plate,i will have check..maybe the dart is too tall.maybe a victor jr will be shorter?i know a carb spacer is out.i will work on the fender deal, anything will help..thanks..denny
