The Holley is by far the best system I have ever worked with. It is very user friendly and comes with excellent customer support.

I have worked with the new Holley system in a couple of COPO cars. I much prefer FAST.

Ed, as you know from our previous conversations, I have a very high
regard of your opinion. What do you prefer about the FAST system? Thanks, J.R. |

Unless something changed since I helped Patterson and a couple other guys with their COPOs, I could not set the VE table break points. I can set my FAST rows & collumns to what I want. I have mine set to the MAP values I see mine running at, at the different elevations/Baro numbers I see mine running on the track, at the tracks around here. I use Speed Density, not Alpha N. Like, at Great Bend,KS (higher elevation) it runs on a row in the VE table (aka "fuel map") it never uses anywhere else. Don't have to change "tunes" for different tracks. I use an IAT sensor, and that correction table to correct for hot or cold days at the same Baro/manifold vacuum. Last Holley car I worked with had set values for fuel & spark table rows.
I also use different spark advance/timing in each gear. Never looked into how to do that with Holley. May be possible, I didn't think enough of that system to look into it. Only upside I see, is it appears to support the LS coil on plug ignition system with no added control box. Single ignition coil, I would use FAST.
