I had a qualifying run dq'd at 2000 World Nats because the pump gas did not pass fuel check.

I am trying to figure the meaning behind this one line on the IHRA website at the bottom of the accepted fuels page:

"Pure Stock entries may utilize OEM unleaded blends meeting the rulebook specifications"

Then I go to the 2012 rulebook and the only thing I find is on page 97 (top left) is the following:

" The dielectric constant of gasoline for Stock will remain at 2.3 "

I plan on running unleaded pump gas in my Pure Stocker at the Pro-Am event at Mt. Parkway.

Do I have to worry about getting DQ'd ?
....or should I be learning how to check the D.C. of fuel ?

Fuel is not checked at IHRA division races.

Thanks for the info.

I'm going to run Shell 103, really not much else around except cheap convenience store stuff.
