This car sounds familiar, let me do some digging...I'm not sure which track this is though.

A few more old pics from Cornhusker drag ways...track only lasted 4 or 5 years.

Where was the track located? I went to school in Omaha in the 80s but didn't realize there was ever a track there.

It was along Hwy.50, just North of Sapp Bros. truck stop about a half mile at Giles Rd. By the 80s it had been replaced by Watkins concrete block plant. I'm still a little bitter that I was born too late to enjoy this place!
Looking through those records, I see some familiar names...Bichlmeier, Wayne Lewis, Eddie Rezac, Vern Moats, etc.

Check out this photo I got from a facebook site, the wagon next to the camaro is the same wagon that raced at Cornhusker I also have a photo of the car in the staging lanes at Thunder Valley SD

here is a photo of the car in the 1980s very sad way for a drag car with lots of history to end up
