I've had good luck with Hoosier. Bias ply are good for consistency. Radials will pick up some ET, but are more sensitive to marginal track conditions. In other words, they'll spin a little easier if the track isn't in good shape. They have standard and lightweight versions. Also, a radial will not grow like a bias ply, so your rpm's will be higher at the finish if using the same size tire. Put the 9" tires on 10" rims if you can find the correct offset.
