I?m just guessing but I think that?s why NHRA wanted AHFS to stand at Indy. We all know there are probably a couple dozen cars that have more left too.
Hopefully nobody bangs their combo too hard or their average

Great day at Indy considering the AHFS is in effect.
Jim Boudreau!
Hemi Challenge coverage was great! Thanks Mike and of course Mr. Herb!
Indy without the Wenzel Bros. is just different.

Stock in the lanes, Super Stock coming up later. Tech was in full swing today. Many cars were looked at and sealed. Fuel injected cars were looked at underneath, not sure what they were looking for. From what I hear tear down will be busy Friday.

Good chilly morning all. I will post the weather numbers below. Stock will be out first at 8am, and as you can see by the numbers it will be fast, especially for Indy. Like I said yesterday, there will be a lot of 1000ft runs today. Its a shame, but NHRA wants to be consistent so now we just get to watch everyone lift... For me, I will be in bracket mode all week.

Temp 52
Humid 91%
Bar 29.34
DA 820ft
Water Grains 52
Wind calm
Thanks for this info Ken! I hope it's like that next year as well!
