Good chilly morning all. I will post the weather numbers below. Stock will be out first at 8am, and as you can see by the numbers it will be fast, especially for Indy. Like I said yesterday, there will be a lot of 1000ft runs today. Its a shame, but NHRA wants to be consistent so now we just get to watch everyone lift... For me, I will be in bracket mode all week.

Stock Q1 at Indy with Density Altitude of ~1000ft
23 Cars ran 1 sec under

2024
Stock Q1 at Indy with Density Altitude of ~2500ft
57 cars ran 1 sec under

Interpret that as you see fit. Hopefully this is an effort to be dialed in the for the eliminator and running <1 sec under to protect averages and that there will still be a willingness to open it up and compete for class.

Regardless, I'm certainly bummed on not being there this year as Indy still holds a certain level of excitement you don't see at any other race.

Love all the pictures. I really like the picture of The Barn, waiting for Jim Marshall. I believe I know the guys (Larry and Mike Merk) who built the Malibu Wagon for Jim and Pam. They only build top notch stuff. Should go through The Barn with no problem.

OOPS - - - Looks like Jim is in the Camaro for Indy, Oh well, that car should pass, as well.

Ron - Yes, Larry & I built Jim's wagon as a roller. We didn't have anything to do with the power plant though. I wish I knew how to make power like that.

Stock eliminator 2025 has 40 cars that ran 1 second under on the q sheet.
