Fel Pro said no such number when they searched. Mentioned could be part of kit too and that's why it didn't show up.
Just measured port size and that's how I came up with the other gasket. Motor is a RWR( Rick Waters) piece. I don't have his number. Looks like he closed shop and working with pro stock team? Let me know if you find anything. Thanks! |

My catalog skips from 97058 to 97062. I have a pretty good connection at Fel Pro but sometimes he takes a couple of days to reply. I sent him an email this morning. The material looks like what most of the Marine intake gaskets are made of. Ill see what I can find out.
I like a challenge ![]()

However I think I saw something that he left them over the winter. All pretty vague but that's all I have got. |

Alex,
The guy I know at Fel Pro found out that they were custom made gaskets for a couple of engine builders. So you are probably going to have to try and reach Watters to see if he still has any. Only other choice would be to cut your own. I dont know if Fel Pro offers those gaskets in sheet form.

Looks similar to the HeadsUp SBC SuperStock intake port. He has custom made gaskets.

Yes, I believe I made those gaskers for Rick Watters. I retired from Fel-Pro almost ten years ago now. Those individual parts were never put into a Intake Gasket Set. We only sold them as a bulk part to Rick. Best bet would be to try to contact Rick.

Fel-Pro part number 1290 is a pair of semi-finished gaskets that are made with the same material and coating as the gaskets you have. The 1290 set is available through most shops and warehouses. Use a sharp X-Acto knife to cut the port openings.

Really APPRECIATE all the info. Will start making some calls to find a gasket set or will use that blank kit if I need to.
