Ed, just out of curiosity how big was the engine that this flexplate was bolted to? HP? RPM??

648/1300HP, 7600rpm for the past 2 years, 622/1100HP, 7600rpm for year 1

Thanks Ed, I'm still trying to make a point regarding this change to the existing rule.
Right now, my 301/280HP, 6000rpm engine requires the same flexplate as your engine.
I'm just hoping that by putting it in print somebody at the top will see how ridiculous this rule change is.

Billy, no one has to buy a meziere billet flex plate, it's a choice, before I did, I ran ATI flexplates since the mid 80s but the answer can't be that your 40, 50, 60 y/o flexplate is still good or the cheap chinese knockoff is acceptable for race cars no matter how slow, how little HP your engine makes.

JW Performance was great to deal with. I have a Meziere in my bracket car. JW called me back first. I would recommend either one.

Yes,its rare but billet flexplates can crack. However I have not seen 1 come apart yet.

well I'm not looking for mine to be the first. It will be replaced before the start of the 2024 season.
