Many have received responses from Democrats regarding the RPM Act in which they express basically a disdain for hot rodders and racer's. Their push is to enact their Green Act policies. They could care less for hot rodders, racing and racer's.
https://www.turnology.com/news/toms-...d-congressman/ On the other hand, I have received responses from AZ Republicans supporting our sport and hobby; the Democrats have been silent on the subject. An exception was a very nice response from AZ Kristen Synema, an independent that leans with liberals/democrats. In her response she stated that although she supports a clean environment, having lived in Arizona and having first hand knowledge of how important hot rodding and racing is for the state of Arizona, that she will support an exception for those that modify cars for racing and as a hobby. |

There is already a huge crackdown on off road ( cat-less) exhaust sales with companies stop shipping non c.a.r.b. certified pipes and tuner companies no long doing tunes. This should be a huge priority for NHRA right now because over 90 % of their income is derived from racers using vehicles that were originally production line with a VIN.
