I’m no hero, but I have walked next to a few in my life. There are 48,000 heroes living homeless in this country and continues to be a stain on the very fiber of this country. I own two gas hogs, little hard to pull an enclosed trailer and hot rod with a Prius but if you say so. Tell me about your travels, this should be interesting. Gated communities being compared to putting a wall around a country, people are not coming here to play golf.

You have promised “this is the last” not a man of your word. You know nothing on my politics. You assume way too much. Have you lived in Central America? I lived in Honduras for 18 months, when I was there the military dictator was backed by the US. At the time the military was shooting Catholic Church leaders because thought they were communists. Standard Brands and Dole had been in the country for a 100 years and did nothing for the country they exploited. The country had 29 miles of paved road. Now you have a situation where the government is part of the cartel and people are fleeing the country. You have Danny Ortega in Nicaragua people are fleeing this communist mess. El Salvador is a human rights mess.

In all honesty Eddie, I wish that you would think about some of the things that you post sometimes because you really come off as being a pompous *** sometimes.

I've been around and helped out an awful lot of Vets in my life and I love and miss every one of them. For your posts about the VA, I will thank you. It is getting better.

Thanks for thoughtful words. I live in a gated community not for protection from bandits. The gate is there because communities here are private golf communities that pay high HOAs for the use of private coarses. I personally don’t live in fear of anything or anybody. I may be a peaceful guy but I have never forgot how to be violent. The homeless Veteran population has actually gone up in the last two years by over 10k, I am sure the Pandemic was in part the reason. And last, I am not a big fan of labeling people, your politics are your politics. I am a registered independent and vote my agenda, and how I vote is no ones business but mine.
