And man, was Daddy ever right. Probably all of us have done the old "talk yourself into less than what you know you SHOULD buy" deal, and it just never works out. i run a 305 l/sa had a a-1 200 changed to coan xlt 283 low car picked up 8 hundreds they told me that it was overkill but have not had any problems.
a little bit high but i think it was well worth the money.

Yeah I have looked at the Coan stuff and the up side to that is Coan is like 60 miles from me I am tired of having to drive or ship stuff had some very bad experiences shipping crap !

In Div. one it's tough to beat Jack Sepanek's trany's. He is at most of the races and is always willing to help you out with any issues. I have used both Pro Trans and McClay's in the past. Both are really good pieces but I feel Jack's stuff was even a little faster. Most reputable racing trany shops can build a great trany. It's up to you how much you are willing to spend. I agree with John's father buy the best you can once. BP
