Ya know, my 72 Nova 307 is at 165 HP. I know that it will never be a "killer" combo and it probably could never qualify at Indy but if someone were to have a 70-72 body just lying around, it doesn't get any easier (or cheaper) than this. I've gone 13.60s in T with a 'Glide and worn-out junk. 72 Camaro makes U at 168 HP. AND sticks for Dwight!

Jeff,
Remember, Billy still has the pushbutton wall mounted phone, give him time, he will come around.

Hey, give the man some credit. At least it's not rotary dial.

That ‘72 Camaro would make one cool stocker especially with a stick ! Trouble is I haven't seen a decent early gen2 Camaro body around for the past 20 years or so. Only show cars that are far out of reach. As I have said before we need more lower class “junior” stockers !

Lots of things have changed since this thread's inception.
National events are pretty much out of reach for a lot of us now.
The local association combos are where it's at for a good majority.
Why not put one of these "penny savers" together and support the guys who appreciate your business?
