Don’t think the majority of those still in competition saw it as anything but an attempt to beat a lousy weather forecast and avoid having them sitting around most of Sunday and possibly today.

I saw somewhere -dragracecentral?-that NHRA ran the sportsman finals sat because of weather concerns for Sun. I for one would have been happy to finish on Sat.
As for NHRA spending any money on competitive cars for the 'LEGENDS' race, ain't never gonna happen.

how about a fleet of these with flat hoods with ls crate motors or similar body sizes in other makes
