Thanks Drew, really hoping to see a lot of support for this event. I know it can be a tow for some but, we will make it a fun time for everyone and hopefully this becomes a regular event on the schedule. Now, that Numidia has a D1 event I think people now realize how much work the DiMino family have put into the track over the years to make it where it is today. Yes, the hills can be a pain to tow but, it was a 6 round race all the way across for the D1 race in 2018 for the .90 Racers so hopefully we can increase that.

The Flyer for the North vs. South Shootout. Thanks to Brad Coryell and Trail Blazin Designs for making this bad boy up.
Right now with a few bracket events popping up for big $$$ I haven't got much interests from the Up North Contingent except Drew's Group from LVD, Jason and the WNYSRA and some guys from NED so here is how this will work: We are going to split the states, kinda like the bracket finals. Team North will be racers from: Northern Pa, North Jersey, Canada, New York, Mass, Conn, RI, Vermont, Maine and Michigan. Team South Would Be: Southern Pa, South NJ, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, W. Virginia and Ohio. How Points will be awarded: 1 point for every round win - a Win nets an additional 5 points, Runner- Up 3 points 2 points if you go Dead-On the Dial and win the round - 8.900. 9.900, 10.900 1 point if you have a .000 light and win the round in eliminations 4 points if you go Dead-On the Dial and have a .000 Light 3 points if you take out the overall champion from the previous season from any of the series attending. Thinking of some other things. I believe Jason is also looking to do a Calcutta to beef the purse up. Rob Keister 856-332-2851 |

Here you go boys and girls the North vs. South Trophy to be handed out to the winners each day and the overall points champ per class per day. Thanks to S&W Performance Group for the great design on the N vs S trophies. Hope to see you all out to support this race.

$20 per calcutta entry has worked out well. Generally, nobody thinks twice about spending another $20, and with the number of cars I'm expecting to be in attendance at this event, this should make for a pot of around $500 for the calcutta winner (typically, we see the finalists of the race splitting the winner and runner-up money, but the winner keeping the calcutta money for themselves as their bonus). I will be more than happy to coordinate the calcuttas for the various classes at this event, if desired. Jason

Jason,
Great Idea and I’m all for it. Maybe do $10 or $20 but, we can decide once we see the counts there. Hoping for a great car count, I mean heck you can leave your rigs at the track following the Lucas Race. If your worried about theft, Numidia has a locked gate and someone on site everyday. Bob, Vinny and the family usually come down Friday Night and those who have been to Numidia about the only thing you have to worry about is maybe a loose cow or rooster roaming around the pits....lol. With the 2019 Numidia Schedule being released here is what’s on tap for that weekend. Remember those of you coming for the Lucas Oil event can leave your stuff at the track for the .90 race. We’ve also added contingency from Auto Meter, Meziere, Lucas Oil and Comp Cams onto what VP is throwing up. Saturday June 15th: 9am: Mid Atlantic.90 Association Summit ET Bracket Race (1/4 Mile) Sunday June 16th: 9am: Mid Atlantic.90 Association Summit ET Bracket Race (1/4 Mile) Bracket Race Info: Super Pro: Entry: $80 Calcutta: $10 BuyBacks: $60 Winner: $2,000 Ru: $700 Payouts are guaranteed Pro: Entry: $60 Calcutta: $10 BuyBacks: $50 Winner: $1,500 Ru: $500 Payouts are guaranteed Last edited by BKSG1198; 03-08-2019 at 09:11 AM. |

We have now lowered the gate fee to $20.00 per day / $7.00 for crew and spectators and $100 per day to myself in which we will pay it right back to you guys beginning 3rd round. So in all it’s an additional $10 per race from the normal .90 events but, putting more back in the pot for you the racers.

Just to give everyone some insight into the payouts for the event at Numidia. You have seen the payouts on the flyer but, to dive a little more into this. I know some may say “no way you’ll get 50 cars for each eliminator being that it’s Numidia and the tow”. We’ll at last years Lucas Race had 40+ in all three .90 classes.
20 Cars: Winner - $1,000 / RU - $500 28 Cars: Winner - $1,300 / RU - $600 32 Cars: Winner - $1,500 / RU - $650 36 Cars: Winner - $1,750 / RU - $675 40 Cars: Winner - $2,000 / RU - $700 45 Cars: Winner - $2250 / RU - $820 50 Cars: Winner - $2500 / RU $900 For $120 PER DAY! Also the winner of the overall points in each class for the North vs. South Battle will get an additional $100. |
