Well 1st of all Gary I’m not jealous at all and also you owe me 3.00 for teaching you how to pay attention to what you are reading and please tell your mom she did a bad job teaching my English class. ( I know this is a run on sentence).2nd of all why would I want a clapped out piece of junk 70,000.00 illegal shootout motor when I have a legal supercharged motor built by the same Duncan Michael that has never had the valve covers off that only costs 35,000.00 from chevy. Your right though shootout motors do cost 70,000.00 3rd I’m glad you payed attention to what you read I wrote that the whole deal on purpose that way to see who pays attention. Obviously you don’t pay attention to the important stuff. 4th my name don’t matter to anybody if you knew how to read it says it on the left side of the page I believe it says Copo kid. If your (stock) tuned motor has so much more in why did you stop there I want you to keep hitting the index over and over and over again please. I know why you probably can’t because shootout motors are only good for 15-25 passes then they have to be freshened again. You can keep your carrots for the rabbits also I don’t care for them. I will be watching the factory showdown and see where your stock tuned motor ends up because if your motor is .5 second faster then every other legal Copo then the one that’s being built should be running 7.70 with it tuned so you should have the record in fs/xx. I’m not mad and I’m not jealous at all I don’t get that way it’s a waist of time. But when you tell somebody there’s more where that came from you probly should prove it instead of trying to fill everybody full of bs. I know Gary you don’t own a Copo so you don’t understand but it’s ok we will let it slide this time and let us big boys worry about driving the fast cars.

Copo.. Are these facts or is this speculation? Are you saying NHRA is not capable of looking at yours or their car? Nick buys a car, team does their homework, hires great people, produces ET and speed and gets slammed for it. Nice... I don’t run FS but my suggestion is ; buckle up. Nick and the MVT Team are just getting started. I’m impressed. I was there for part of the tear down. There was nothing hidden that I saw. Head, rockers, blower etc.. I am not a LS expert but I am very impressed.

Hey Ross Gregory since I’m the guy you wanna mouth off about on the internet why don’t you at least know what you’re talking about. Or better yet let’s meet up in person one day with both our cars and run them heads up. Let’s say best 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5? Since I had bad luck at Indy and broke everything but the engine it looked bad on paper but I’ve got $5,000 I’ll put up against your $5,000 and we can run heads up whenever you’re ready. I’ll even pay a tech guy to tear them both down after to make sure they’re both legal. Just let me know when...

You two should agree to run the same class someplace next year. I would love to watch!

Mouth off?

You are the one that said what I quoted!

Maybe I missed a race on drag central that you ran more then .600+ under??

I’m not running you for $5000!

If you want to come run heads up, feel free to come up to Denver and race Mile High Nationals. We can run class in Stock or Super Stock.

LMAO, you must not read drag race central very much...I mean your response shows your ignorance, how can I be the guy that hit your combo with hp by going 1.22 under but then you say you’ve never seen me go more than .60 under? You’re special! I mean since I’m so slow why won’t you run me for $5000? Should be an easy payday for you if I’m so slow...lol

Lightbulb Re: COPO Horsepower adjustments

Your right James I hope they are because sounds like they are pretty confident they are gonna make everybody look like fools when they get their shootout motor done since their stock from the factory motor with a tune can qualify for all the shootouts. Why spend time building a shootout motor or in the shop working on it when you can just tune your (stock) motor from chevy to run in the pack with all the fs/xx guys. We will see where they end up I will be paying attention and hope to see them at #1 and winning them all and I will definitely say congrats great job. As you can tell by how many times I’ve posted you know where I spend my time and it’s not on here it’s in the shop because you see I’m a one man team. Plus I only pay attention and respond to stuff that affects the class I race. I don’t respond to anything in anybody else’s class that gets Hit because it’s none of my business and I’m sure the races affected will step up and say something. You can baffle people with a lot of bs but some you can’t and I see the responses you get when you call out bs on something.
