It was the longest paragraph I have ever seen. :-)
Sounded like a good bit of jealousy to me.

I know “copo kid” from the track and he is a good racer and good guy. His post is fired up and filled with emotion. Should he have took a bit more time and punctuated? Yes...
As for how he is fired up I totally understand! I had the same thing happen to me by an engine builder that “had lots left in it!” But couldn’t qualify at Indy a bit later in the year! ![]() It’s all hearsay on the engine, but the car in question has gone faster then any factory (factory assembled engine) supercharged COPO car in the history of them being built. With all the mods done to that car and then what other racers/onlookers saw at the track makes it’s pretty hard to believe. In my opinion ANY CAR THAT GOES 1.20 UNDER SHOULD BE TORN DOWN RIGHT AWAY!!! They had no problem doing that to Mr. Poole when he did!!! It is Ryan’s car (not sure if he is a paid driver or it’s his car) and you can smash your combo all you want as it’s your money but I don’t understand. It’s just too bad NHRA doesn’t police combos more. IMO they are killing our class that is so heavily in forced by rules but rairly checked by them. It is what it is! You don’t like it don’t race. If they just checked more cars and they pass tear down before a HP hit, then no one could make a peep!
