My old Pinto was indeed a 1976 and it now is owned by Derrick Elam. Derrick recently got runner up at the Las Vegas LODRS race with the car. Not sure if it is a dime rocket, but they are a fun car.

For those of you that think you can't win from the slow end of the field, the Elam's W/SA Pinto has a win and 2 runner ups in divisionals this year. With only 5 races, they finished 3rd in points, not too shabby.

Hi Marty! Ya know, back in the Middle Ages, The Chinese were very adept at polishing turds. They raised it to an art form that is still recognized today! I'm very envious of that.

So, Billy, are you saying I should be proud of being a "turd polisher"?

Well Marty, I'm not saying that you should be proud of being a "turd polisher" but, anybody can make a diamond sparkle. It takes a special kind of talent to make a "turd" sparkle!
It was meant as a compliment. (but I think you knew that!)
