Yeah, yeah, yeah, tell THAT to the guys who were chosen to be torn down.

Whoa, wait a minute, did I just defend the NHRA? I need a drink.

If there's any race that should have the AHFS in place it's Indy. It's great to watch or race in a class where someone goes -1.40 vs someone -1.10 with no penalty (lol). But hay it's less paper work for Pat C the next week so who cares about anything else. Just wait ,INDY is all ready starting to loose its appeal to class racers.

Hey Charlie, Indy lost it's appeal when they went to the fastest, regardless of class.

Good place to teach ya, you ain't as fast as you thought you were. LOL
Can certainly be a humbling experience. If you changed anything, test it before you go.

The 128 car Indy field use to be all class winners seated first and then the fastest qualifiers who did not win class were considered fill-ins. Back then a class winner was more important and all class winning cars were torn down to prove they were legal.

But times have changed and the whiners with deep pockets mean more to the big wigs than the little guy.
