Give redline cams a call 4083130145. He will get you what you need.

Cool Re: Stocker Cam Grinders

In the past five years or so, I bought two Bullet cams for my 327's. They don't give them away, but you wouldn't want anybody's product that they did give away. They have performed perfectly. I was real happy with Bullet's product and would always recommend them.

Bullet has all the old Lunati, Crane and Comp Cams specialist who understand the Stocker cams including their history.

For Pure Stock I always advocate for Bullet.
They are very helpful with advice and technical information.
Prices are always fair.

Spiro Jannings, redline race cams. Always made more power, and never any "livability" issues with his designs and he understands S&SS.

Thanks to RJ and Adger for the info on Redline. I've passed that info along to my engine builder.

Is a hydraulic cam legal in a solid lifter engine in Stock? I had the thought that we will be giving up a small amount of lift due to the lash in a solid lifter cam. We don't get much lift in the 273 combos, so maybe every bit counts? We can run the hydraulic lifters with maybe .002" preload/travel? Any thoughts on this?

I'll second that. Spiro Jannings at Redline Race Cams. He's innovative and tailors for each combo. It's refreshing to talk to the designer/cam grinder and not somebody sitting at a computer trying to sell you something they sold somebody else and still don't know how it worked out.

I tried call Chris Padgitt at Comp Cams today and they tell me he has left their employment. Anybody know what he is doing?
