Can anyone check the factoring back then - the thing Paul mentions about the 429/375 being factored up to 410hp in 1970 (and beyond?)
Thing is, in 1970, Ford had TWO very different 429/375 engines:
Mustang 429/375 = Boss 429 (near-Hemi)
Torino 429/375 = Super-CJ (canted valve wedge)
I also don't see much history of the 429/375scj in NHRA, if it was factored to 410hp that would explain why.
But was the 410hp applied to the 429boss/375 or the 429SCJ/375?
Or maybe both!?!!??
