Default Racing Harness With A Stock Seat

Looking through the rule book,on a 5 point harness the submarine belt is supposed to come up through the seat. What`s the best way to do this for reinforcement of the seat,or do you just bring the belt up around the front of the seat?

On my Mustangs,

I was told my mounting point for my sub-harness had to be moved to around mid chest under the seat instead of the cross member under the front seat brackets.

I was told the attachment point needs to be right under your A** hole and come forward & up to make sling for your bottom end..

I did that when I relocated my lap belt mount to the proper 45 degree position and the submarine belt was then too short to reach around to the harness clasp. It's about six inches behind the leading edge of the seat now.
