Default Need Help with Landrum Front Spings

Just installed Del A Lum Bushings, and Landrum 180 lb front springs on a 69 Camaro. The front end weighs 1667 lbs.

Problem: car sits up with the front end fully extended...if i under stand spring rate correctly it takes 180 lbs to compress the spring 1 inch. If so each front wheel has 833 lbs of weight divided by 180 lbs of spring so it should come down 4.63 inches?

Please Help

New Spring is about 4 inches taller the stock spring that came out of it. Does anyone know spring rate of a factory 69 camaro?

There were different spring rates on '69 Camaros,, from 6 cylinder cars right up to iron headed big blocks. I'm sure a Moog catalog or other similar suspension catalog can show you the info you need. My 2 cents.
