Well Rock, you finally got this "Wack Job" off the couch. Man, you have been taking some good hits over this one. Who is this Webster character? Mr. Ed's little guru, the go see who I have next on the ladder guy, get to the races two days early and save me a parking spot guy and the go get me something cold to drink guy. Maybe Ed's starting line theory is to put his opponent to sleep and that is what his advantage is. I think the only reason nobody in his division complains about his staging practice is because no one has the balls to confront him. Now if he took all that time to stage because he is praying to God, Allah or whoever else, it might be a different story, but I doubt it. Now if I was one the guys in his division that have no balls to confront him, I would buy a 12-volt air horn at Pep Boys for $20 and mount that under my hood and as he takes his time to stage I would blow the horn for 20 seconds and break the concentration of anyone who is on the starting line. That would get everybodys attention and maybe the division director would address the issue.
Rock, it seems like you have apologized to this "Webster" in a number of ways. He doesn't need an apology or an explanation nor does Mr. Ed...........Wilburrrrrrrrrrrrr. You spoke your peace but because your a Republican you do owe us Democrats an apology because you can't wait for a gallon of gas to get to $5/gallon so you, Bush and Cheyney can celebrate. Jason O......I tried but that is all I can type. Asta Last edited by FOR REAL; 11-10-2007 at 04:58 PM. |

That's still a pretty impressive effort John. I'll definitely give you a thumbs up for that one!

I know why Olpin takes so long to stage, he's just letting the oil in his heads run back to the pan.I opened mine up so no one has to wait on me.
I think this is what Rock was trying to say all along...or he's letting the air pressure in his tires drop down after the burnout... or he forgot to tighten his belts ...or his steering wheel fell off..... or his helmet fogged up... or he had a phone call.. or............. |

It is amazing how many people get bent out of shape when someone plays a game on the starting line. Been racing since I was 8 (13 years), and have been cussed my fair share of times for not staging the way my opponent wanted me to. Actually, I will never go in how they want me to. If they wanna stage last, I can fix that. And if they wanna be first, I will beat them in. If you are a good racer, you can concentrate and still do well when you are burned.
But, I am gonna do whatever it takes to get you off your game on the tree.
