Hello ALL:
Got several emails regarding Fuel Checks on Pure Stockers. There are NO Fuel Checks on Pure Stockers. IHRA allows Pure Stockers to use Pump Gas or Race Gas.. You can mix them with NO consequence! Pump Gas is fine. Again ..NO Fuel Checks on Pure Stockers. Dan |

IHRA rules state: "Pure Stock entries may utilize OEM unleaded blends meeting the rulebook specifications." It does NOT say that you can use anything you want. It is NOT an open invitation to use ERC, Nitromethane, Methanol, Propylene Oxide, or anything else not on the accepted fuels list.
Tech questions should be directed to event promoters and our staff.

Did you see any improvement over pump gas? Talked to several racers and depending on their ride say Pump Gas works better than Race gas. Usually they have Low Compression Engines. I can see the High Octane working better for High Compression Engines. Read conversations of one type being better than another. Dan |
