Wink Re: Metric 200 Trans

Joe,

Depends on who you deal with, I would say $1,400 to 2,500 for a good
one ... That's not a Mclay or Pro-trans , they are twice as much... Check with Jim Woods , I think he had a couple of them with Convertors for$ 2,500 That's a great deal , maybe he will sell just one ??? Good Luck & it's the way to go... Contact me if you need some help picking one....

Yes, Arnett did ours as well. I think he can do one without any trick internals for around $1500 or so...without convertor of course.

Give us a call sometime. 270-338-6325 Price range varies depending on what you want but a 200 can be done very reasonably.

Call Thomas Arnett. He does all my stuff (200's), they work great and last, and we're not easy on them. Plus he's a good guy.

To make that work, you need a modified forward input drum, to accept that shaft, and a modified pump, to accept the stator shaft. Both the stator shaft and the input shaft are different.

If you were in the salvage yard looking for a 200 to be modified for racing. Is one better than another or are they all the same? If there is a difference whats the best models to look for it in?

Thanks Alan. I responded to your email to Oliver Connecting Rods about torque specs for our bolts. Let me know if you guys need anything.
