That's twice the stupid countdown probaly has cost Edwards the championship.
I think if guy can run off with the points then he should be champ, let everyone else battle for 2 on down. Mike Taylor 3601 |

Correct, Allen is #2. As was said all along he and Roy "hired his own assassin". Imagine Jegs and Mopar made them an offer they couldn't refuse. Too bad about Edwards, NHRA thinking they are another NASCAR put them in that position and unfortunately the countdown drama is what TV and the masses expect now.

I wonder how much Jeggie paid Edwards to put on the diving shorts??? I imagine the going rate for a pro stock championship is pretty steep, but if anyone can afford it... |

![]() The Ravens lost to the Eagles Houston Pittsburgh Denver Washington Cincinnati They were 1-4 their last 5 games of the REGULAR season. So no, they weren't the best team in the league last year. They just won the last 4 games of the POST SEASON and were rewarded as if they are the best team in the league So it's just like the countdown. You can test, mess around, play the system, and just squeak in, then as long as you are good the last couple of outings you are rewarded as the best. Pretty lame if you ask me, and definitely doesn't reward the best team, athlete, driver, etc. Personally, I think the only playoff system that somewhat works is multi game playoffs. Like baseball, basketball, hockey, etc. |
