I took a few pics of the 60 to show you what it looks like now, it's painted 61 corvette fawn beige with a creme cove, I hope to have it together by spring but we'll see. The 66 is an ex modified car that we have been working on for a couple years now & it's close, you should see it in super stock come spring....

Don't ever change the wheels on the '60. Those polished Cragar Super Tricks are perfect in my book,,, ran a set on my black '66 Nova in the '70s. People loved them,, me too.

Hey all,
I had the time so I worked over some classic 1990 US Nationals video here.
This is the true gearhead era... note the extra pit space!
This was probably the last really great Indy for modified.
Its mostly stick SS and Modified from the top gear bashers of the day.
Lee Otis, Taylor, Calder, FJ Smith, Don Wolf, Larry Pritchett, Scotter Anderson, Willie McLemore, Stokes, Yamarino, Barforth, Bridges, Ronnie Smith, and more.
Cary Menard is announcing most of Round 1, and he's just great on the ears.
Note that there was no S/C on the grounds in 1990.

Fawn beige is easily the best color on early Corvettes. Beautiful work, as always. Can't wait to see 'em..... -Al

Doug, not sure how / where you keep coming up with these old cars, but so happy you do... Always a real pleasure seeing your end results.
