You were enhanced again Jack......

The people running things are their own worst enemies.

They go out of their way repeatedly to step on peoples toes in one form or another...

You give them nothing but positive publicity, have raced with them forever and are racing a top of the line COPO Stocker and it counts for nothing.......You are treated like someone who does not belong there.......Really ridiculous and uncalled for on their part....

I had problems with the "rent-a-cop" at Sonoma, went up to the tower and talked to Georgia Seipel who quickly set him straight on what a restricted pass allows me to do. You probably got the same sort of individual...

I've been their biggest supporter for a great many years and I don't want any special treatment but some common sense would help - someone had to point me out to that official as I'm sure he had more important matters to attend to than tossing me out .

My advise is to just stay out of their way in the staging lanes ............And abide by the rules ! ! Even if you don't agree ..........
That is the exact same treatment my wife and I received when we went for the first time for the 50th anniversary race. Worse we were ever treated at a race and because of that I've never had a desire to go back.

Makes no sense to me. If you were not qualifying for a field I could see it but, how is it anywhere close to fair when your taking 128 car field. Bunch of BS

Cool Re: "Live" from Indy US Nationals 2013

Good morning - Today for many will be very busy as this morning SuperStock will get their chance at earning a class wally .For others (Stock) today will spent taking apart their engines in the dreaded Indy barn .And as someone who has been on both sides of the fence as they say I can tell you its no fun for the crews or the officials .Indy is a place where if you want to win your parts are right on the edge of legality with not much room to spare anywhere .Its an assembly line process - get 'em in - check 'em and get ready for the next wave of cars coming .Today there will be two shifts - morning and afternoon and later i'll mosey over and see if I can grab the dirt .

For others (such as myself) its a day of reflection - of what could have been had things gone differently yesterday .Woulda - coulda - shoulda .Al I know for sure is that a wally didn't take up residence in my RV last night .But I gave it an honest effort ........

Factory Showdown - what a turn of events - its seemed for awhile that the Cobra Jets and Davids' mighty Mopar would run away from the field but its Indy where anything can happen and did -- spinning tires and breakage played a part as they always do ........would you expect anything less here ?

Back a little later ........

Saw your run yesterday Jack. Gave it a good go. I was glad I got to make it up there. Saw some good racing from all competitors. Got to return a couple books to Ron Seibenek, he got a couple round wins. BS with quite a few others. Even ran into a guy from my street racing days back in the mid 70's. He's running SC with the same car today, lol! Wish I had stumbled across you, liked to have met both you and Billy. Maybe another time.
