There are NO dumb questions, Not asking a question might be considered dumb...
I would rather ask a question before I spend money on the car so I know what is
correct in the beginning.

I just read the 2013 IHRA rule book and you are allowed a 10.5 x 30 slick with minor movement inboard of rear spring and minor fender well alterations for tire clearance. Maybe I'm reading it wrong but to me that means you can mini tub.

You can move the springs only as far as tire clearance and you can massage the the wheel tub with a hammer and torch but you can't cut and widen as I understand it.

Post Re: MiniTub?

The only problem with this question is he ask it here, If you have a question about what can be done to a race car regardless of what class it fits in to you would be wise to call the sanctioning body for what type of racing your doing, and then get a letter with a contact name other wise it's just hearsay and will do you no go in tech.
