put the correct front end on it and then build for that year.....definitely would not pass as a 68-72....also a 68 ignition key is on the dash and not steering column .

Reread my post may have been confusing?
what I was trying to say was 68 -72 car could be made into 68-72
73-74 could be either
75-78(forgot they went to80 could be 75-80

door lock position was different from 68 to 69-72 also

Does he have his heart set on a 68-72 body? Why not make it a 73 or 74? I think the fenders are even the same, just different trim pieces.

he has had this car for over 22 years it was damaged by a tree the front end was crushed he at that time had a 4door 71 nova with good nose and installed it
