While I've always admired his accomplishments and work ethic it's been disappointing to watch him struggle for the last few years while racing on his own dime (which he once said he'd never do). Know first hand how hard it is to quit racing but at some point it needs to be done. NHRA's schedule is such that these early season cross country trips must be an added financial burden.
Personally wish he would throw all his resources toward KJ and see if he can battle the top teams again.

Momma J posted on FB that they are sending Kurt out to do some last minute testing before sending him off to Vegas. WJ and her are staying behind to continue working at the shop.
To be honest Kurt has the best shot of winning a race in that team. It's a shame that WJ can't find much more power but, even when he does make it in the show he cuts an awful light 1st round and is done. Wish he could hire a young shoe the was bringing money and put them in the car. |
