What is the rule on carb spacers in stock? What are they in SS? There is a lot to be found in working on 2 bbl spacers and adapters. I run a 2 bbl in IHRA SS Production. Been working with the Holley 2 bbl's for a long time. I'm sure the 2GC's are different but working with how the air/fuel comes out from the base plate into the manifold can net substantial gains.
Thanks Scott Tilley IHRA SS/PDAII |

Tom, do you have any additional info on the 2 bbl. cars you mentioned? I was at Indy 6 or 8 years ago and talked with a guy about a Superstock car that (was I think a 350) ran a 2bbl. Anything that is unusual, thinking out of the box, or what most would call an "odd ball" combo always gets my attention and vote lol, so i was hooked. The owner told me that the car was not as aerodynamic as most ( I think it was a malibu or a late model cutlass body) and was not efficent at the upper MPH, but with the 2 bbl. combo it ran pretty well. Could this be who you were talking about? Thanks, Don Jackson
