The 1994 Mustang 5.0 looks like a good combo.
In P/SA it has to weigh 3578 lbs with driver. 13.45 index. If I upgrade my '95 Pure Stocker this winter it will become a '94 P/SA car.

Turbo something. Look for Buick or Pontiac if you want RWD or Mopar if you want FWD.

Forgot all about the 301 Firebird. The motor may be hard to track down, but those bodies are all over the place up here for $500 or less.
