Probably a VERY accurate statement as the T-Bolt was not sold for street use and neither is the "new" CJ. The 68 CJ's were sold for street use, I even had one once.

rocknrolla, I just noticed a '68 Barracuda racing besides the '64 T-Bolt, was this event opened to other race cars as well, or is that just and older pic from another event...so lets see'em if it was from the Cobra Jet Showdown.

Hemimoose, The Cobra Jet Showdown was held on the same weekend as the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals event. That photo of the Thunderbolt and the Hemi Cuda was taken when the NMCA nostalgia Super Stock class was running. That was the only photo i took of the NSS class. I added a photobucket.com filter to make it look like a vintage photo...photobucket has added alot of cool filters that make images look unique.
